Nikunja's live sound creation is based on his singular art-conception of Interactive Matter and inspired by Indian Vedanta, Chinese Taoism (Zuangzi), the situationists (Guy Deborg), dadaism and currents of contemporary classical music (like György Ligetti)
strives to challenge the desire and satisfaction of wallowing in the constant fulfilment of the expected in harmony , rythm and frequency,
but uses twist and creative potential to transgress
and to achieve fullness of content by revealing its inherent energy of emergence.
To commit to truthfulness one has to transmit the tools and means of creation : in dilruba sound creation, Nikunja communicates inside of the vibrating spheric tones the materiality of the instrument, wood, animal skin, copper and steal cord by scratching, changing the weight and pressure of the bow - at the image of the vastness of the human spirit incarnated into the materiality of body and environment and world striving for transcendence: Thus also parallelities of frequencies and times emerge, intertwine, so that Nikunja can compose several layers simultaneously, making aware and transmitting the parallelity of reality, space and time in physical presence. Between the layers new sound realities emerge and allow to the listener to open up to unexpected psychic perceptions of his own inside of the musical evolution.
The tonal, harmonic and rythmic instant variations unveal the subjective presence of Nikunja and the immediate process of intuitive travel transcending simple calculus and repetition for faint commodity, entertainment, conservatism of the reigning limitation of perception.
